Beading Basics
This course will give you all the information you need to create and make necklaces, bracelets, earrings & charms. You will be introduced to all the tools needed to crimp, loop, open, cut and snip. Learn how to work a wide variety of findings. All materials included.
Beading I - Necklace Making
Introduction & explanation of tools and findings used to make jewelry. Learn the basic technique of stringing on beads and learn how to close the necklace with a clasp. All materials included.
Beading II - Earring Making
Continuation of explanation of tools and findings. Learn how to loop wire to make earrings and charms. All materials included.
Drawing Workshop
Exploring abstract art! Zany patterns, intriguing shapes or beautiful clouds of color, exploring the world of abstract art is a fun way to tap into different parts of your creative self. All materials included.

Origami Workshop
Turn a square piece of paper into a beautiful crane, a pretty flower or a frog that hops! Origami, the ancient Japanese art of folding paper, fascinates young and old. This workshop covers the basic forms using different papers and encourages lots of creativity. This also makes a great parent & child project (8yrs & older). All materials included.
Painting
Acrylic painting techniques will be the focus of this basic course. Students will learn some color theory through mixing and experimenting with the medium. Creating the illusion of texture and blending will also be discussed. A final painting based on a still-life display will be created by the end of the session. All materials included.
